Australian Agricultural Contracts Ltd ("AACL")
AACL is an unlisted public company incorporated in 1997 and now operates one of the largest grain production businesses in Australia. AACL has developed a product, known as Grain Co-Production, which is structured as a corporate share-farming agreement between investors and professional grain farmers.
In 2008, AACL contracted with approximately 200 farmers to produce wheat and barley on over 200,000 hectares of land in Australia. The majority of crops are in Western Australia with operations now expanding into New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
